Heavy Armor Main article: Heavy Armor (Skyrim)

Use of the Steed Stone can negate many of the disadvantages of heavy armor. Both types have their advantages and disadvantages. Lol.There are two types of armor available, Heavy Armor and Light Armor, both with their own skill tree and associated perks. I was a devout Sacrosanct user for years before I gave BV an honest try. I would definitely suggest trying BV, if only because you haven't yet. BV has more customization out of the box but Sacrosanct is already well-configured imo. They are both fantastic overhauls, just a little different, with different design and lore philosophies behind them. Enai's spells from Sacrosanct were always my favorite part so it works out nice to combine them for me. But all in all its a nice blending of the two. Everything else like Stat changes or radials ot what have you use BV's assets/values.

BV's author made a patch that adds the Sacrosanct vamp spells to BV and things like Blue Bloods Carey over because they don't conflict.

They can be run together somewhat effectively for what irs worth. In the end it just comes down to which the user prefers. It's just more convenient overall to me.įew little things it has that Sacrosanct doesn't, to my knowledge (it's been a few months since I've run it), like the bite marks on victim's next, or nice features but nothing crucial or essential really. This is earned in Sacrosanct through feeding on so many people iirc, but in BV you can simply turn it on or off at will.

The biggest difference being that Sacrosanct has its philosophy and BV it's own, but with BV you can customize everything to your liking, where in Sacrosanct the only way to do that is to edit the mod itself.įor instance, sneak feeding. Sacrosanct and BV are actually pretty evenly matched. For one, turns all animals into draugr, skeletons or freshly turned vampires. Drastic but simple changes for a more haunting Skyrim experience. Maybe one day.ĭawnguard Sentries - adds a couple DG guards to each major city.ĭesolate Morning - huge horror overhaul by clofas A true post-game quest expansion for the Dawnguard DLC plot would be incredible. )įwiw I've run every single one of these together successfully.

#SKYRIM DARK ENVOY ARMOR UPDATE#

Will take a look at some of my LO spreadsheets and will try to update with any further recommendations I can make. A lot of the mods I run have become so common place for me I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Should've been a proper faction imo.īetter Vampire NPCs will overhaul vampire enemies to be much harder and more unique/interesting.

#SKYRIM DARK ENVOY ARMOR FULL#

On full vamp runs I would often go all out on overhauling the vigilants and it always paid off. Better Sun Spells let's sun magic spells do (lowered) damage to everyone, not just undead, giving vigilants a fighting chance in combat against other npcs or animals/creatures compared to vanilla. Stendarr's Beacon Enhanced and Ruhmastered. New quests like that Stendarr's Beacon one that let's you rebuild it, mods that buff the vigilants Loot and stats/combat capabilities will help give you an enemy worth fighting. ) Got an update recently that put it under 4mb.Īny mods that buff or overhaul the Vigilanta and/or Dawnguard. Etc.ĭark Envoy - great little powers/spells addition. Turn anyone more or less, Vampires you turn feed on npcs, lots of little things like there being a toggleable option for bite marks appearing on victims necks or not, how the sun affects Vampires or not, whether potions, food and healing spells will work on vampires. I'm a huge enai fan but BV is just too nice and customizable to not run instead for me most of the time. Main overhaul - Better Vampires 8.7 or Sacrosanct. I don't know of any Post-Dawnguard questline expansions like what you describe, though that'd be sick, but there are a number of great vampire-related mods I can suggest for various things.
